Hello,

I am a new player too... This is my first post ever on this site.  I have played Flying Buffalo PBM games for over ten years and I'm excited to try Alamaze.

I'm interested in playing a Duel game with a mentor.  Are all the characters available?  Also, are turns typed or are they entered through a visual interface?

All kingdoms are available. There is an interface with tabs for political, covert, military, magic, kingdom, and other tabs. There is a separate map available so you can mark population centers and unusual sightings.

I can mentor you if you don't already have someone in mind.

When I play as a mentor I am happy to allow my opponent to pick my kingdom so they can explore matchups but this has caused confusion in the past. In this case I picked Lizardmen.
