Yea, I definitely wasn’t thinking about you DuPont - or Bahamian politics. For context, I’m a die hard Democrat that proudly lives in Seattle where we have some of the most progressive policies in the country.

You bring up a very valid point. I was one who did bring up politics and for that I apologize. It wasn’t meant to be offensive and if anyone was you have my apologies.  Just as a side note, you ask people not to bring up politics and then you post your political views and opinion.  Doesn’t that do exactly what your asking everyone not to do?   For future reference, if you want people to respect your request, you might want to respect that request as well.  It is good form to lead by example.

I’m not sure I said anything that was an opinion. It was just facts. If I said something that was an opinion then you would definitely know. That is why I ask that we don’t have it. I thought the context was important considering what was already said.

Ace is right, it was just facts, no opinions.  Just like I'm not a progressive  socialist  Democrat. I'm part conservative,  libertarian  and constitionlist.  All kinds of people  can love science fiction  and fantasy, even those that are completely  opposite  in all other ways.

I am Ashgar sometimes TalAshgar (Michael).  Long time PC gamer.  Started with Ultima on an IBM 286 (Turn 49 this year).  Ashgar started when I picked up Everquest 3 months after it went live, and that has been my gamer name ever since.  

I am married, she loves that I play Alamaze because it challenges me.  My online games she is bored with and they don't challenge me.  I work in the Concrete Construction industry.  I work with Engineers, Developers, and Contractors.  I consult on streets and roads, job sites, parking lots, anything to do with Paving.

I am a West Coast boy born and raised.  Farm boy, USMC, even living back in the small town I grew up in.  If I could help make Alamaze better in any way I would but for now, I don't know that I have anything to offer.  I am loving the community, the game, and the fun.  

I will echo the slight venture into Politics, Regardless of what people may think of Trump on a personal level, I am appreciating the effect on the construction industry, the financial benefits, and the impact it has had on my job.  I have had record setting years in 17 and 18, and 19 is off to an amazing start.
