Sorry about the delay. I have been sick for the past few days.

I have never played a maelstrom game. Can someone help me to find the new stuff so I can pick a faction?

Most kingdoms are not changed much. What kingdom are you most familiar with? Take that kingdom. This is likely the worst type of game to be your first. I would be happy to help you before the game starts. It would be best if you find someone not in this game to guide you.
