Three Best Alamaze Themed TV Series Ever

I know, the title sounds pretentious, but Alamaze was out before the TV shows.

1. Game of Thrones. No explanation required, I presume.
2. Black Sails. For all the pirates out there. Well done all around, great filming, very interesting characters of both genders.
3. The Man in the High Castle. Alternate reality. The Axis win WWII and divided the USA, and it all looks authentic. 4 Seasons, 40 episodes.

Honorable mention, but out of genera, Star Trek (duh) and Battlestar Gallactica.

Comment as you will, or offer an alternative. Just one.

I liked man in the high castle but don’t think it says alamaze as much as the hobbit series of movies

I concur, the Lord of the ring series is a fit with Alamaze. Where else would we find hobbits?

Yes, but it was about a TV series, rather than movies. For movies, of course LOTR would be #1.

Yeah, I've enjoyed that, will probably watch again. I tend to just multitask and then when I have to pause and rewind too often, I watch over from the beginning. So it will be for The Witcher.

Also started The Expanse, which gets good reviews, I had that in background and may give it another shot.

I know The Man in the High Castle isn't exactly Alamaze, other than it is an alternate reality with alternate possible outcomes. Black Sails is really good stuff, not for magic, but somewhat historical and great developing story and characters and acting and filming. Really features the intrigue aspect, which I try to play to.

I expect it will be sometime before a TV series (not movie) exceeds Game of Thrones. I'm actually not sure for a mature adult that the collective Game of Thrones would not be ranked higher than the three LOTR movies, despite the nearly universal disappointment in GoT final season.
