Against my better judgment, I have subscribed to this thread, Wookie Panz. I can't keep up with e-mails, now, as it is. Plus, I had to figure out how to subscribe to it. You shouldn't assume that others on here necessarily know how to do that, even if they are an admin, like I currently am. I remembered seeing an option to subscribe, somewhere, but I tend to check this forum for all new postings since my last visit, anyway.

Welcome Croaker. I hope you are enjoying the game. If you have any questions about stuff - ask Maximus. He just about LIVES on the forum

Well, while I do not "just about live on the forum," here, I have spent quite a bit of time on it, of late - the last couple of weeks or so. That, however, is highly unlikely to be a permanent situation. Plus, too, as Wookie Panz fill well knows, he is one of the individuals that I have increasingly turned to, to seek answers to questions of my own - and he has been kind and gracious enough to try and assist me.
Also, Wookie Panz's own previous words from 11-27-2019 come immediately to mind, wherein he said:

Had it not been for Ohman sitting by his pc to answer my every question I likely would not have become a regular player. The programs have come a long way since then and it is easier now but the learning curve is still what is keeping people away in my opinion. It's good that so many of us are willing to help others to try to grow the player base.
I can try to find answers to your questions, Croaker, and who knows? I might even be able to answer the occasional question. But for someone like yourself, Croaker, who saw your first Alamaze game was in 1997, and the last time that you played was in 2006, you've more first-hand experience playing Alamaze than I possess (though I did first try Alamaze long ago before you did - but only for a turn or two). Thus, Wookie Panz will prove to be the more reliable source of information-of-depth on Alamaze, compared to myself.
If all else fails, you can e-mail Alamaze support for answers to questions, or just post your questions in the forum, here, and others can benefit from your questions and any forthcoming answers to them that get posted in response.
Regardless, welcome back to Alamaze, Croaker!

Yep! I had to look that abbreviation up. DW = Dwarves.
Rather obvious, huh?
Well, it wasn't to me. I had to look it up. Yes, after all this time.
I think that the Kingdom Abbreviation Codes link that I added in the header area above the forum is definitely gonna get a lot of use - by me, if by nobody else.

Thanks. Last time I played was all paper sent thru the mail. We’d exchange notes via the company to get emails or phone numbers.
Online/Forum is definitely a nice improvement along with all the game updates. First game back I decided to stay with a kingdom that I was successful with (albeit 17 years ago).

Well, welcome back, Croaker!
If I can ask, what's the story behind that moniker of yours?

Is that from the Black Company? A series of books that I read long ago.

That is exactly where it is from.

And the only one not ready for the next turn is......................................Brekk! The owner is such a slacker!
He is doing the Lizardmen and I hear they wait for the sun to come up before they start to move around. Just sayin.

Not to knock the big guy, but I can personally vouch for the fact that he's had plenty of time to send me e-mails, so his slackness on getting his kingdom's turn orders in couldn't have been due to a lack of time on his part.
I don't know what area of the country (or world) that he lives in, but it wouldn't surprise me any, if he's found at a craps table in Vegas.
That's definitely one possibility.

Death Knights - all
Does anyone care to buy food? I have 80k to sell this turn.
DK - Black Dragons Hey big guy. Of course you are welcome to the village and I have removed the ambassador. The level 1 agent that lagged behind was a bit of a slacker. He's not even a mouthful for you so if he ends up in your care I would like to buy him back real cheap. OK by you?
