We understand you received our young envoy with grace. You have my thanks. I fear I've tasked her to accomplish too much in insufficient time, in setting her to travel to every corner of the lands. She will need every advantage possible if she is to succeed, and I am glad she began her journey in your company.
We understand the hunger of the Trolls well. I shall send communication to their impressive new Warchief about our Village. Hopefully, he and I can come to an agreement about letting my people abandon it before he claims the structures there as spoils.
Perhaps this ambitious young chief would be open to an exchange, for we have heard the rumblings of trolls following a different chief from up here, among the Dells.

- We have a village in LD, and would like a few turns to evacuate our people before it is trampled by the trolls or won over by your diplomats
- I would offer mutual defense or some similar measure, but suspect you are already in incredibly strong standing in that regard between your agreements with the troll and our accord of peace!

We are happy to enter into a defense pact/alliance with the Gnomes. I still must explain the carrot and stick to the GI. You are welcome to reconsider if the GI does not with to take the carrot.
Great King Stonethrower, the news of your expansion spreads quickly. We the great Consul of the Ancients must warn you there is a town within Arcania where we maintain the seal to the Underworld. Not the underworld you know as a band of assassins and thieves, but The underworld that is home to the most vial of demons. The Ancients Ones have only shown us how to maintain and keep these Demon Princes out of our realm. I do ask that you allow us to maintain this town.
We would also request a village of our own within Arcania to help feed our peoples when the winter hits the northern regions. We would be happy to share what is found as our group leaves Arcania knowing the Mighty Giant Armies will be able to protect the lands of Arcania and our town within.

We have seen no response to this offer. Great King this offer was the carrot I would expect that you demand I give you our village in Amberland in exchange for the extra village in Arcania. I can agree to do that. But if I hear nothing I must plan for the worst that you will be coming to take control of our town in Arcania and break the great seal. We are not an agreesive people but behind the carrot is a stick. If we must we will defend our town and Arcania from Giant rule. The people of Arcania do not want the seal broken and would quickly become hostile to any that would endever to do so. Though we can not stand toe to toe with your military your leader and wizards would be no match for our own. We do ask that you please consider our offering of the carrot.

Apologies for this late reply. We will leave your Town in Arcania under your wise rule. Your village in Amberland will be a fair trade for a village of yours to rule in Arcania, yes. We can further offer a NAP existing for an amount of time of. We can set a time limit or a negotiate for two turn notice of any change in the NAP as is your preference,

I am delighted to make your acquaintance. I am happy with that arrangement for now but I humbly request that either part can unilaterally and with advance notice express intent to take the PC in their region. That way if we feel we need the PC to further secure our regions, we are not fettered in our ability to do so.
Would you like to further cement our relationship through a NAP? Perhaps something through next Summer?
