This might be a good play to request the next game queue. What do you want to play next?

I'd love to see a Team game (6 teams of 2 kingdoms each; kind of like a Confederation) but once the 12 players are signed up, they are randomly assigned their teammate AND then randomly assigned the kingdom they will play (or alternatively the highest ranked player based on Status points is paired with the lowest ranked player as a teammate, then the 2nd highest with the 2nd lowest and so on). Chivalry bonuses are applied.
Or, similar (but slightly different) to the No Mages game, the kingdom in each zone with the "lowest" wizard maximum level is the only eligible kingdom to be played (ties like R10 are up to the player that gets that zone). So HA instead of GN, EL instead of DU, etc.
Sign me up for either!

Why not do both these at the same time?
But I think instead of completely random for positions. Have the 6 lowest ranking players randomly placed in the odd regions (plus D1) then have there experienced (more status points) players pick there regions in random order only knowing what regions are available and what region there teammate has. I say have the experience players pick the region only because they are more likely to respond to email more quickly.
Since I like to mentor anyway I would be willing to play some version of option 1

If there are a number of zones that predominantly choose one kingdom over another how about a game where only the 'lower' chosen kingdoms are available?
Get the LI HA DW BL PI into the game
Or an alternative could be total choice but if any of the less selected kingdoms are chosen they get a chivalry bonus.

I love the idea of being paired with an experienced player. There are may things I recall, and yet a vast amount to be learned. If this has a chance as a scenario, then sign me up.

There are no current signups so we should probably get our act together and choose a variant. My preference would be 1) Confederation 2) Confederation with a teammate (each player plays one kingdom) 3) Anon or 4) Team game with 4 teams of 3 different players.
Ry Vor, can you weigh in too. I don't like to start a signup thread without getting the GM ok first.

Sorry, ok.
It seems there is some feeling for a Confederations style game where the two kingdoms per side are split between two players: one a podium player, one not. I think that would be a great help for six of the newer players. Would involve a draft, unless the six teams of two were predetermined. We could entertain that, although I think I proposed that recently.
The straight up steel styled game is the easiest and least controversial to get going. But lets see if we can get six newer players to post here that they are up for the idea of their team of two kingdoms, with one new and one experienced player control six kingdoms to win.
Again, we can set the two kingdoms for the six teams, if that seems more fair, rather than a draft.

As a newer player I would like to join this format. I don't have a preference as to how the teams or kingdoms are determined
