I have spoken to one of my teammates but not the other. I don't want to send in a position for him without him clearing it. He's usually quite responsive so I hope to hear from him soon.

Is this the thread for this game to post current events? Like the war that just started? Some 3-way team wars has started.

You can post updates like who controls what region, enemy declarations, but not any internal strategy.

The idea of Alliance games is you communicate pretty hard with your teammates, but are relieved of other communication.
