Hello all and welcome to Game 5005. Thanks to Thunderbolt for getting it going, and thanks to UM for automating the sign-up and creation process.
As this is a forum-only communication primeval game, I will start the chatter.
I am playing the Elves and am looking forward to a great contest against the Tyrants, Pirates, Black Dragons and Demon Princes. Pagan game, so there is a decent chance the game will end by Lion's Share on turn 24.
As there are five kingdoms and 10 regions (and by design no wizards or Red Dragon), I propose we start this game in a civil manner with each of us moving on two regions before hostilities begin. In fact, I would agree, if others are willing, that I will take Oakendell and Northern Mists and will not interfere with any other kingdom or their pop centers until after I have my two regions (or until someone attacks me or my pop centers). Any final agreements on regions will likely have to wait until the Tyrants and Pirates weigh in, as we aren't sure exactly where they start.
As for the High Council, we will all get on that committee, so again I propose we do so in a civilized manner. Each player gets to name the Council issue on the turn they get on Council and then repeat in order. Others will vote with the issue (or abstain for same effect) as long as the proposed issue is not directed against another kingdom. Of course the order you get on will depend on how much you want to spend to join early
.
The above are not game rules, merely my suggestions for a development period and a beginning mode of diplomacy. Please let me know if you are on board with the proposals and, if so, which 2 regions you favor.
