Game of Thrones?

Ever since he first started controlling creatures I have always suspected that at some point he would end up controlling the Dragons as they fought the White Walkers. But Calidor's idea about Snow, Daenerys, and Tyrion riding the dragons into battle sounds pretty awesome.

Arya was on her way to kill Cersei and that would have ended that. But now she's heading to Winterfell where most of the Starks have returned to. I'll be disappointed if Arya doesn't end up killing Balish. I'm sure that's not the last we'll see of the last Dire Wolf.

Doesn't seem like Daenerys can do much now without her fleet or Westeros armies. Both of her would-be allies to take King's Landing are out of the picture. She might as well fly North and fight the Walkers with Jon. Bran will then spill the beans and tell Jon that he's a Targaryen which is going to come as a shock to just about everyone for sure. Unsullied, Dothraki, Wildlings, the Crows and the armies of the North will be equipped with Dragon glass for the battle - but how do they all get to Winterfell/The Wall?

After that much effort to fix up Jorah, he's got to have a part in what happens next.

There are only 4 more episodes this season and you know they'll leave much in doubt. Will the finale for season 7 be the battle against the white walkers? The pacing seems to be about right.
There's only 7 episodes in season 7?  After waiting a year and a half.

Yeah, Jorah has some part to play, likely saving Dany one more time.

I'm not a member of one of the boards that speculates or has insight, but even while you could kind of get inside Martin's twisted mind, now HBO is beyond the books, so has their own vision of what should or will happen.  I would think they, unlike Martin, probably want to keep their stars around.   That includes the evil Cersi.

Bran seems like he will become central, perhaps overshadowing all the rest.  When Jon is revealed as Targaryian, that solves the King in the North problem it seems.   But then Jon and Dany are, what, cousins?  How does this get resolved (for rulership)?

A lot of peoples' favorite character is Tyrion.  Does he ultimately win?

Also, to an Alamaze parallel speculating on how big religion should play a role, we have seen a lot of religion in GoT, including Dany just professing atheism (believes in herself not the Old Gods or the New, or Death or the Lord of Fire).  She's impervious to fire as are her dragons, so what role does the Fire god and his priestesses have?

Interesting talk between Varis and Merissandra.  What do they ultimately accomplish?  What is the unsympathetic Littlefinger's ultimate destiny?  Seems he will be outwitted after overestimating himself.

Odds of Huron living two more episodes?

We know that Cersei is going to be killed by her little brother due to the prophecy from when she was younger. It was on the show last season or the season before but mentioned a few times in the books. Most took that to mean Tyrion which could still happen but my money is on Jamie. Could even happen this season the way things are going.

Jon is Dany's nephew and line of succession would pass to him before her. Her brother would have been King once Jamie killed her father and then it would have passed to Jon upon his death... BUT since he was still a bastard I guess it's moot as he would have no more claim to that than he did Winterfell.

My guess is Tyrion does eventually sit on the Throne.

Littlefinger will meet his doom at the hands of a Stark girl... but will it be Sansa (my guess) or Aryia? I don't remember how much Aryia heard about Littlefinger's involvement in Ned's betrayal.

I think Euron will eventually be killed.. directly or indirectly by Theon. I'm wondering which dragon(s?) will be killed by the ballista.. that might mean John, Dany or Tyrion follow...

With Aryia heading to Winterfell and Bran already there, him seeing all that has happened in the past...  Just think of what she can do with that information!  Little Finger can't get away fast enough.
It sure is interesting.  Mages, agents, priestess, dragons, fleets, leaders of various skill and background.  Something seems vaguely familiar

Yeah.  Watching it, and how wonderfully it has been executed, has been quite a present.

So, those last 20 minutes were about the most impressive TV I've seen.  Maybe I'm just partial to dragons.  You can see why I wanted to make them individual characters but it would be a gigantic change for Alamaze.

Good episode, although we saw nothing about The Night King.

That was freaking awesome! Makes your army of light cavalry so much more useful when you have a dragon to blow a hole in the line of spearman. It was a really great battle scene for sure. But I think the Battle of Bastards may still be my favorite.

Arya is totally decked out with Valerian steel now. Watch out Night Walkers, that little girl might give you problems. Poor Podrick. I don't think he's cut out for military life.

Oh yeah.  For those that didn't follow 3 years ago, I named my golden retriever female puppy Aryia.

Somehow it seems G. Martin is going to redeem himself with the Stark Resurgence.

While Jon and Dany have grown into an alliance, Jon still not revealed as blood.

Next episode will likely be a bit slow and then we get the usual WTF episode with #6.
Who kills Littlefinger? I was leaning Sansa but now I think it's Ariya. Is he available n her list? I'd have to go check.
