Three of four games won by the AM and one by the BL. It's funny because the NO was first drafted in three of the four games. Either way, I don't like playing the same position twice in a row. I will take the Atlantians.

Congratulations to DuPont on the win. I had picked third and took AT, after DuPont took AM and Drogo took NO. I was glad to have BL between my AT position and AM but another very experienced player, Drogo, with NO kept me more than busy. This was my first time playing AT and it is a fun position to play. Though not a match for NO in either military or magic, the emissaries and agents, along with the sea advantage, make it a pretty level field. It was nice to see all five players finish the game. Well done.

I too had the Atlantians and I would think I would have a good chance in a next game with them, having learned a lot about this kind of competitive Primeval. As the Atlantians in Primeval, I didn't bother at all with raising wizards or the economy and focused almost entirely on the political game more than with any other kingdom in any format.

Its interesting this format - The Battle of the Red Haired Stepchildren was formed as a test and then a popular format and then the Championship format because while yes, the geography is pretty balanced it was also the five least selected kingdoms. Since the early BoTRHS kigndom selection for Amazons and Nomads really went up, and I am thinking some veterans will give the Atlantians a go in a serious Steel game.

We haven't heard much from Cimmerian players. Were you outgunned, or what happened?

Cimmerians seemed very slow and the water in R2 doesn’t help. I have found that speed is very important in these games. I’d play them again in a slower paced game.
