A Steel World without Red Dragons Diplomacy Game
#61
Necromancer,

Military attempt? The only Military I see is yours at my towns door. The Black Dragons has no military presence in the Northern Mist, of course attack what is mine and that will change. The fine people of Tigers Den has heard our offer and they have accepted it no blood has been shed, by the Black Dragons. However the Mayor of Tiger's Den has informed my that he does fear your army sitting there. Further more we reject your claims over the town on the simple assumption that it is in the Mist. Furthermore, The Black Dragons has no military presence in the Northern Mist nor have we attacked the kind people of Mist. To continue we have done nothing to you or any of your PC's nor have we harmed any of your Citizens. I will give you one last bit of wisdom, if you think your army can out run mine than please attack, We look forward to the challenge.

Interesting stuff.   A semi-diplomacy version of Alamaze is probably a sweet spot from the original full diplomacy that seemed to center around creating lots of non-aggression pacts.  Right now this forum, every third turn diplomacy (or antagonism) seems a good workaround.

Related to establishing your persona is the avatar to accompany your messages.  To add one for those who have not done so, save the image you want to your PC, then click on the "User CP" icon at the top left right below where it says "Welcome back" and you'll find the menu choice to add it and it will then appear on all your messages, even ones you had previously posted.

I would add that there is a chat room on the Game Creator page, right below the emoticons. It really hasn't been used but might be a viable way for instant communication and could facilitate, for example, draft selections. Also, we might try it for some scheduled chat on a topic that doesn't need to be "forever" like a forum post - postings on chat will disappear in a few days. At this point, just would like folks to be aware its there and maybe test it.

Great Dragon King:

I will move off the town in question, a single town is not worth a war that would destroy both of us, or at lest weaken us both early on.  I will leave it unharmed.

You're welcome to fly down and attack the Darkelves and rangers in the Eastern Steppes on your way out of Region 2.

So you are saying there are towns and villages in the Eastern Steppes that are there for the taking?

Well it seems we have record training of agents all over Alamaze.

AT I offered help against the Tyrant dog for 2 months now, if you provided information. Perhaps your messengers did not survive.

RA, we are just passing through, we hope all is well with the Rangers of Arcania?

No word from the TY? Do you wish to make treaty? I would suggest you rebel the town you took of ours in Torval as a sign of peace toward the Underworld and the Sorcerer.

AT was too busy doing sea patrols against peaceful fleets to reply to you Rellgar.

I said I was under attack by DA, RA so what did you expect. If you cast a Demonic Visions when you were under attack by multiple kingdoms and then someone complained about it would you care? You should blame them for me having to order sea patrols...
