We don't specialize in big words like the Old Ones, but I trust many will appreciate not having to ask their wizards to define words like "imperative" or "gossip".

As of yet, there has been no contact from several kingdoms, leading to two important things. 1) less offers of tribute to wade through than was expected and 2) what seems to be a growing sense of paranoia from both the Wrinkled One and the Spider Faerie.

Should anyone wish to remedy the above, time grows short. The current plan of 'eenie meanie' for looking at first expansion options will have to be adjusted at some point. We Rangers need our room to roam, after all.

Allow me to introduce myself.

I am the representative of his Most Excellent Barbarian Majesty King Conan.

King Conan has recently returned from a trip to Zamora where he personally killed a giant snake by ripping his mouth open, killed countless Zamorian priest, and has personally uhmm broke in several Amazonian geishas.

He is currently very tired and needs a rest.

He does, however, recognize his duty as King of the Cimmerians to protect all Cimmerians from harm. So I am to inform all that bring harm to any Cimmerians will bring my liege great displeasure. My Liege would like to avoid re inflaming hemorrhoids by having to get back on his horse just to go and I quote "Beat Some Misbehaving Children's Ass"

He would like everyone to know that if they behave they will be invited to his castle to see the giant red diamond he "found" while wandering through Zamora. Worry not it shall be a party. Filled with good Cimmerian Ale, and not that cheap Atlantian salt water swill, scantily clad Amazonian dancers, and roasted Elf Ears on a string.

There will be Halfling wrestling and a Demon Lords and Ancient Ones Dance Off.

We shall also have a great round of pin the tail on the Ranger.

It is sure to be the smash hit party of the summer.

Ok, time for a new guy question. We just got R3, so are prepping orders for T4. Does that mean we're in the 'negotiation window' (a.k.a. insult time) or is that after R4?

Oh Ancient Ones, whom I stumbled and found.. a group of the First Cimmerians are close by at the border northward bound.

Evil Cimmerians, We Dark Elven see what you are, you take our southern town on the border of Krynn and Zamora, we watched and heard the slaughter of our friends, watched them driven before you, and heard the lamentations of our women. This was our food supply for the cold dark winter. We Dark Elves have a long lifespan and will remember this in the centuries to come. May Lloth protect us in this dark time, we are strong, and after all we were nurtured by the shadows.

Little Folk, the Halflings, what delightful quiet neighbors. Perhaps one day we will stay and join you for first and second lunch during High Council. Let us Vote Yea, Yea, Yea.

To the Amazons of the sea.., for these three turns, we ask you let us be. Our eyes turn not towards Stormgate unless provoked.

We are settling in for the winter, warming ourselves by the hearth, telling tales of Chaotic times, watching the Sea with our Atlantian Friends and telling the children songs of old...., “We once lived in a starless night with no moon, or twinkling shining lights. Fiends around us lived quit fine, until the silence crept in shadow’s guise and they saw our sinister glowing eyes”....

His most Gracious Barbarian Majesty King Conan has asked me to speak to this verbal provocation.

It is his Majesties view that upon our first contact king of the Atlantians did claim that his border was closed and that all peoples who are found there need to leave.

His Majesty is King and protector of all Cimmerians and has decided he will protect the Cimmerian town in the Crown Islands. How can a king who can not even keep his kingdom from sinking into the sea dare to tell the Barbarian Lords where they can and cannot go?

Naa we shall march from one end of The Crown Islands to the other and make it our own. This should alleviate the Atlantians of having to BUILD A WALL to protect their southern border.

My liege decided this was a better plan after learning that the Atlantian King intended to have the Cimmerian people pay for this atrocity.

This is a win-win. We save our view of the beautiful north, and the people of the Crown Islands are not going to have to be repressed by the oppressive taxes of the Fish King.

Then we shall take those who would be their allies.

It is good that the memories of the Dark Elves is long and that they will remember the burning of their town. It was not much of a fight and our people have already forgotten it. So someone should remember.

AN - Hear our Majesties words. Our army is near your border and is heading north. It has no reason to ever cross into your lands unless you do harm to the Cimmerians. There shall be peace along our border.
