covid 19 wash state emergency update

Today's verse is brought to you by the Ranger Kingdom

The young Ranger Lord spied a raven haired lass,
But his efforts at courting she resisted.

And she said.

"You bumbling young fool, now it just isn't cool.
And you must keep your safe social distance."

I hear paramedics have started to carry 2x4s for a social distancing hymlic maneuver

I have learned to poop just once per week to reduce our family's toilet paper usage...

I am much too full of it to only go once a week.  Or so my wife says.

Had a girlfriend once who claimed she only pooped once a month, during her period.  Tiny little girl who ate like a bird (and drank like a fish).  Still, doesn't seem right.

Did you just rhyme “resisted” and “distance”?  Wordsmith!  Practically Marshall Mathers.

Thank you Uncle.  It's not a perfect rhyme but it doesn't always have to be.  I'd like to do a new one for this thread every day but the creative brain is not always working.  Of course that leaves a chance for everyone else...
On the news aspects of this virus, my county of about 100k people, here on Cape Cod, has gone from 9 cases last Friday to 51 as of yesterday.  And t.p. is very hard to find.

Heard some good news yesterday, a study out of Harvard suggests millions more than previously suspected may have already been infected... and not even noticed.  Their conclusion is the fatality rate is up to 100x less than previously suspected.  10x less than the flu.  it makes sense, since other studies have shown the virus has a really tough time actually getting into your cells.  It sneaks in through ACE receptors.  Some of you might recognize this receptor as it is a target of high blood pressure medication (ACE inhibitors).  Explains why older people and those with high blood pressure are affected more...  people on ACE inhibitors have more ACE receptors  (When you try to modulate receptor density with drugs, the body often counters by growing more receptors).

No, totally fake news, the Math is completely  wrong. The part about the Ace  receptors  and high blood pressure  is true. Not the fatality rate.
