I thought my eyes were deceiving me (ironic that). I didn't see "a" group, but various. But what's an army here or there between good friends like us?
You are not on my target list, either, and I understand the territorial needs of recruiting. As a matter of fact...
IL-ALL
Bounty spells available. 50k gold for a successful cast, safe passage for the group, etc. Multiple casting discount available (5k off per additional spell). I might have to charge a stitch more for some remoter regions. Let's palaver!

I've got the advantage so peace is going to cost you. We roasted your King alive and ate him at the last banquet so I don't have anyone to release- and you only have my fool, kill him. We care not. So here are my terms:
We halt hostilities but I keep 2 villages in your region while taking back the town in mine you have. That's the best deal you're going to get. Or I can take it all. Your choice.
RA - RD
We know that the Red Dragons are a proud race, but fact remains. You might be slightly better off for now, but this turn might be very damaging to you, if you insist on fighting. The Rangers are also known to be a proud people, and we are not going to let down our arms until the last man has fallen, and certainly not letting dragons roam in our home villages.
So, the original offer stands, less the exchange of emmies, but that's as far as it goes. The alternative is fighting ´till the end, and I can assure you that will hurt, a lot, regardless if you emerge as the winner or loser. So, up to you. You still have time to reconsider, but in that case you need to do it fast. Or we are both going down a path that most likely is going to destroy us both. But if that will be, so will be. What say you, mighty dragons?
RD-RA: I don't think you see the big picture. So my response is to burn your kingdom to the ground. My offer is still good but that's as good as it's going to get.
RA - RD
While we do question your wisdom and sanity, as well as your perception of the greater picture, we do at least appreciate your willingness to negotiate and your honesty.
It is with regret then, that we will instruct our armies, companions and friends to continue waging war. You should inform your elderly dragons to prepare to mourn their offsprings. This will be a dark age for the once wise dragons.
RD- RA: As I said, you apparently didn't see the big picture. There's not much left for you but complete destruction but I'm open to a truce after this turn if you like. Or I can completely wipe you out- you don't have much left anyway.
RA - RD
Again, we certainly don't share your view of the big picture. The Red Dragons admittedly have a mighty army, but when it comes to perception, intel and grand strategy I think the Red Dragons still might have some way to walk...
We the Rangers can only repeat what we already previously said, and mark our words: Continuing fighting between us will only lead to the destruction of BOTH out proud kingdoms down the line. We are still far from beaten, and, dependent when and what our fellow kingdoms might or might not do, one of us will perish before the other. But the ONLY one(s) who will benefit from this in the long run are the rest of the kingdoms, not the Red Dragons nor the Rangers.
So, with all that said, even if we both already have lost a lot of precious time, a truce might still give either of us a shot at the Iron Throne of Mealstrom. The terms remains the same as they have always been. You tax and leave all PCs in Krynn, and I do the same in Triumvia. Exact timeline we can work out. You can go on about having the advantage and wanting more "for compensation", but I think that deep down you realize you otherwise only can achive a Pyrrhic victory with possibly winning the fight against us the Rangers, but losing the whole war for Maelstrom in the end.
So, should we start discussing the details of the truce or continue sharpening our swords?

RD- Ask your 3-4 brigade groups to “sharpen their swords” and attack my villages (is that the serious damage I can expect?). Does the RA have special rules that when I eat your King and then Regent alive that your fool takes over? Don’t expect to hear from me again as it’s clear you’ve lost your mind.

RD-EL: Looking for answers on 1st El and the Ranger town in your waters.

HA - IL Hey that bounty, so, for 3 bounties would be 120k? Is that 3 successful bounties and can we throw a food trade on top of that as well, if you still got any extra food now?
I'm thinking something like 60k gold for the next 3 turns for 3 successful bounties plus 40k food each turn. Get us both going on the trick of the trade.

*Sigh* This demonstrates well what we have been saying all along. Blurred strategic vision and bad intel. But your armies are still in good shape, and your communication is direct, so thanks again for not leaving your intentions unclear at least. We can only wish you good luck on your chosen path, you will need it

My dear Proudfoot HA King-
Wheeler dealer you are! What about undercoating? Will you throw that in?
Let's see here... got to talk to my sales manager. The three bounties would be 50+45+40 or 135 total.
The return food is very intruiging... I don't think we get trick of trade, though, because we both have it.
Let me get back to you by tomorrow. I appreciate the offer and good will.

RD- RA: Sure, could be. The only thing that could stop your destruction at this point is intervention by another kindgom. And the only one that could coordinate with you is the Elf. So I'm on the lookout for him and see he's been taking artifacts in my regions- which I don't appreciate. Good news for me is, I know where most of his PCs are in Crown so if he interferes, I guarantee he will be hurt badly as I will destroy his PCs not capture.
RD: So everyone is clear, the war with the RA was mutual and started on the same turn. RA started scouting my region intentionally early in the game while I was on my way out of his from a starting PC. RA patrol landed on my capital Turn 4, and he brought his entire army there turn 5- I reciprocated on the same turn. Now I control every PC in Krynn save 1, have killed his King, his Regent, his Baron and have 1RD over 100K in value while he has a few villages and the city in Triumvia which he loses this turn. So, unless he has a secret army group he's waiting to spring on me at the last minute - OR he's plotting with the Elf via email which I suppose is allowed since the Elf is new not much else can be happening. His capital falls for a 3rd time this turn so between that and his Count running things now (and may get captured this turn) his influence is below 10.
So the RA wants me to give him back 8 pc's in Krynn that have me at tight control while he'll return 2 villages in Triumvia that he'll lose next turn. Because "I can't see the big picture". Clearly I don't know how to play the game.

50+45=95k gold. Split the difference because you save me bus fare. I'll do them for 88k. Trade on the turns following each successful cast of 44k gold for 1 food. If you want additional food on those, I can add 20k food for 10k gold on both or either.
I so much appreciate the new, munificent Red Dragon King, unlike his parsimonious cousin Smaug.
