So, with the way we do it, it is more like the kingdom wins the right to play with some victories and then we figure who gets to play them. As usual, my lawyer language: I captured info as best I could but if I missed something, please correct. No offense meant or taken. 
In order, the best kingdoms with podium points shown (and their representatives who played them best) are shown below. A kingdom with a first place will precede a kingdom with no wins, so the points may not be exactly in order. Those players who are listed first for more than one kingdom should pick their kingdom so that we can cross them off in other places and open up more choices. This means Painted Man and Acererak and Draugr should pick from their choices. Four kingdoms had no podiums, so they are out (BL, EL, NO, SA). Once we have 12 players for 12 kingdoms, I think we do a random draft order for region, but I can't remember how we did that last year.

I'm showing a win in game 5349 by Draugr with the DU.  Is that from last year?  If not, that gives the DU 6, and possibly draugrs first choice considering the new rules.

Yeah, I just checked this.  5344 and 5346 (last train, and caboose) finished before 5349.  5349 did finish before the end of 2019, but if it was not included in last years tally for the championship, it needs to be included in this years.

If you did not include that game:  2nd place was Rellgar with the IL, and 3rd, Brek with the AT.

Yes, PT, correct. I wrote the status points incorrectly so uncle is first on the PI, then Ace. I changed it up above.

As for the other DU issue, I don't remember if we took that game into account but I would guess we did since it finished around 12/19. I don't have a dog in the show, so whatever you folks want on that one.

I'm only guessing draugr is going to want that... we had to endlessly hear about how high his status was, that he had 5 regions, what a bore!  On the other hand, it was a game with one ally allowed, we could make an argument to exclude it

This system leaves something to be desired about who should pick first...  Uncledark, might obviously pick the UN over the PI, but Painted might be waiting to make sure he does, because if Uncledark does pick the PI, Painted might want the UN...

Acererack should pick first, there does not seem to be any benefit to him waiting... but until he does, I personally would wait to see if he picks the WA, because I might pick that if he goes IL, for instance.

Or, maybe I want to go halfling, in which case I have to wait until HA makes it into the top 12.  Which it probably will.

Another Also... if uncledark knew what region he was going to get, his choice between UN and PI might be informed...  which is why I think the top 12 players should be determined (by total points), and regions assigned randomly, BEFORE kingdoms start getting picked.  Then, the person in the "pole position" (painted, with like 6 or 7 choices) gets a very well informed kingdom choice based on his randomly assigned region.  The reward of so many good placings.

If we do it this way and pick kingdoms first, for instance.... me picking either the WA or HA could determine whether or not unclemike would make it into the championship at all.  I don't think that whether or not a person makes it into the championship should be determined by someone else's kingdom choice.

tldr; I think that PEOPLE should make it into the championship, based on total "points", kingdoms being only of secondary consideration.  It would solve some of these problems, obviously not all though.

It would not change a lot, but for instance, Brek, who is a very strong player, with 8 points worth of finishes, might not make it based on what kingdoms people choose... that's weird to say the least.

Its because you are strongwill and PTreily.  Confused my simple mind.

I did 3 points for a win, not 4, and this includes game 5349... which is up for debate.
