Well if you take the average from 129 and 130...

I did learn one thing from my "mentor".

It's only overspending if you don't have the cash to splash. Me? I've got the cash.
And I remembered to post an issue this time!!!

(DW) Well, we are past Turn 7 and this place is quiet as a graveyard. Someone must have some news!?
Oh, right, I have responsibility for the Dwarven Lords in this one. We have 9 regions controlled, with Amberland seeming not only uncontrolled, but hotly contested. The Elf was an early drop, due to that nastiness on another thread. The Giant controls Oakendell. The Ranger, Synisvania, allied with the Sorcerer. The Dark Elf the Steppes, and Torvale by the Ancient Ones. The rest as you might expect in the Experienced Steel game. Both the Witchlord and the Dark Elf were seeking game long NAP's, which I just don't prefer, and we had shorter term agreements of non-interference in one another's regions. As that with the Dark Elf came near to term, he declared my kingdom enemy and denigrated me in the Steppes. I felt I must respond in kind and did so. Thalion of the Dark Wood also had simultaneously made a run into Amberland, and took Evanon. This has upset the Giant and the Warlock, simultaneously. Other political attacks are under way, some of which we know, some we don't, or would not reveal. I have not heard of any great military battle at this point. This seems a campaign thus far centered more on intrigue and intelligence.

(TR) Got a slow start. My guys are slow. Money was slow. My wits are a little slow this game. Somehow playing the Troll just makes you more dumber than before.
So, I worked a deal with the AN, where he takes the region and I get the things I need for ESO. Then I headed north, but not faster than the fleet-footed, steppe-stepping Giants (did I mention my guys were slow?). So he took some things from the Elf, I took a few things from the Elf, the Elf had that other dispute on the Forum, and poof, Elf gone and Giant has a region. Developing slowly, did I mention I have slow money (partly thanks to someone taking my money-machine, but they fixed it, but slowly). Oh well, Turn 10 coming soon and ESO seems miles away (ok maybe 6 turns away). So, what shall my green guys do? I guess I will show up somewhere this turn. Be sure to act surprised and invite me in for dinner. Don't be surprised if I don't show up for a few more turns though, since my guys are SLOW. Any theme emerging in this post?

Emerging...slowly.
But truth be told, Trolls are what, 4.0 in the plains and 5.5 in the forest? Maybe you've been a dragon specialist previously?
