You took Hammerhold from me, with its 53k defense with a Diplomacy Spell, then made it your capital. I have successfully sieged it for two turns. This is the critical turn. If I maintain the siege, you lose Hammerhold, your capital, likely your king, and I regain the gold production and likely the region. The rest of the players are saved from your campaign-ending victory.
The tactical considerations are ticklish. If you have honor, you will leave your ally the Warlock out of this one, old midget Giant.
Campaign ending victory? I gain nothing from this battle except my capital does not fall. My position in the game will not change. I lost my earned gains from the war with the Dark Elf to Red Dragon while in this battle for the mountain.
I was surprised when you left your city undefended as my group arrived. Even a patrol I could not have attacked would have blocked my capital. I was actually kind of proud of myself for that move. Really though the prize of the mountain was the little village that supplied my troops during the winter months.
You ask for Honor and talk of tricks in the same breath. It is a shame that only my warlords know of invisible friends and foes that may be with us. Please do teach me your tricks the loss of a battle is always worth the knowledge gained.
I want nothing to do with your tunnels. If I could I would just fill them with water like trying to flood a gopher.
In other news, a division sized pack of dwarven midgets ran into the throats of some dragons this past turn, ambushing them and catching them by surprise. Sadly, all of these brave dwarves were lost in the attack. Black dragon causalities were less than a score; one died of indigestion from eating too much and the other died of laughter.

Yeah, a full Dwarven division in ambush surprised the Black Dragon army group at Viperhead. The BL belched, guffawed, and no Dwarves escaped or did any damage. My people are getting in touch with "the" people going forward, though nothing can be done about those Dwarves surprising the Black Dragons.

800 gnomes were lost beating up on the WI capital... again. Is there somewhere that we can log a formal complaint? The WI citizens seemed so willing to help with our assault that we would assume that our numbers would have actually increased.

(DE) So weird, if the WI is getting his butt kicked in Northern, why is he down in Arcania, helping SO and UN gang up on the DE?

Never try to understand the WI. It's futile. The good news is that you can probably find a half dozen folks willing to chase after him. Not me, though, I'm busy.

WI also has a group fighting in Amberland. Tough to win that way.

What, you've never heard of refugees? :-)

For some reason, I hear WI singing Redemption Song...
And who told him he was allowed to have two groups?!?!
