I was looking at a chart of spells, and I found an interesting one.
According to the source, you can conjure a scandal (spell #381), which is similar in effectiveness to a minor scandal.
I am playing the Demon Princes, and in the setup it says that they are immune to such scandals, as they are the Evilest of the Evils. Is this true? Are the DE (and the Ancient Ones as well) immune to this spell?

You can cast this spell against DE and AN, and it will have the same effect. So if you're DE and someone conjures a scandal against you, you'll be kicked of the HC.

It makes you wonder what scandal is foul enough to get the DE kicked off the HC? Queen's a werewolf? Nah too lame. The king is a vampire? Not good enough! Perhaps this forum is too family friendly to discuss this further.

Actually, since we are talking about the DE, I think it would probably be something like 'The King helped a little old lady across the street' or 'The King took money from the treasury to pay for a shelter for abused puppies'.

I don't think it's an issue of the DE needing extra foul deeds for a scandal. I think the setup is that they are OPEN about their bad deeds, so when they get elected to the HC it's with everyone already knowing what they did in the past.
With the scandal spell, it creates a new deed the DE supposedly committed for people to get outraged over.
I think modern politics is quite full of this kind of thing. Newt Gingrich had to quit congress when he was under an ethics probe yet 15 years later he was a leading candidate for president of the USA. It took a new scandal about him cheating on his terminally ill wife to drive him back out.
Same with Marion Barry getting kicked out of office for smoking crack and then getting reelected mayor of Washington DC even though people knew what he'd done in the past.
