Which of the following two choices better reflects your viewpoint on game turn pacing, currently available either weekly or every 4/4/6 days?
1) I would prefer to see other game turn pacing options, whether faster or slower, and would be willing to pay more for faster pacing.
2) I am satisfied with the current game turn pacing options, and either am not interested in, or unwilling to pay more for, other options.
The polling feature is currently unavailable on this message board, so if you're willing, please post either 1 or 2 below (expanding further than that if you desire, of course). Thanks!

Why does this poll only have 2 options? And why are they both talking about money? What about staying on the topic of game speed? My main problem is that I spend almost 2 full weeks each month without a turn.
We have done 2 polls in the past (that I am aware of) and at the time, almost half of the votes were for a 3-day turn around with the remainder split between 4 and 7 days. And the other poll was concerning a fixed or floating schedule with almost 70% voting for fixed.
At one time, Cipher even suggested an option for Monday noon to Thursday midnight AND Tuesday noon to Friday midnight (basically 3.5 days per turn), but turns were being processed manually by the game master back then and it did not look sustainable. ...but now, it is automated with no need for a human to be awake to push the button(s). This is the option that I vote for, so let's call it #3.

Two reasons, first is basic simplicity, second is that anything other than the currently available options will require programming work. So faster, slower, it's all the same in that it will require the extra programming. And I included money simply because I'm not asking anyone to work for free!

I do not like option 1 and option 2 does not apply. That's my vote.

Your displeasure with the poll is duly noted. Sometimes, it costs money in order to make a change, and if you don't want to pay it, or are not able to, you're stuck with what you have.
Given Rick's stated concerns about this already, and the fiscal realities of maintaining this game, I really doubt, "Hey, put more development time into something that will likely decrease your overall revenue as people play fewer games at the same price," will be an option.
But it's an open forum, and you're welcome to disagree or start your own poll, if you want.

You started talking money 3 posts into the last thread....before Rick even chimed in. How is it that you get to decide that adjusting the schedule warrants a price increase? All Rick has said is that he has a development plan and this change is not currently part of that plan.

How is it that I get to decide what to put on my own poll? Doesn't that question kind of answer itself?
I'll tell you what. Feel free to post your own poll, and if you word it relatively neutrally and have no more than two or three options, I will gladly delete this thread, even if just to stop this side discussion and focus on the matter in question.
EDIT: Actually, I know you can delete threads with no replies, but I'm not sure you can delete threads with replies. So go ahead and formulate your poll and if it's neutral and has two or three options, I'll happily defer to yours.
