AN/DE Now Immune to Scandal Spell (381)
#1
Just making sure players are now aware that the AN/DE Kingdoms are immune to the Scandal spell.

not just a ward spell?

No Ward spell, as no orders were entered for DE and there was no standing order for it as of last turn since I successfully slept that King. Plus this message:

Spell #381 Due to the completely evil nature of the Demon Princes, scandal is
irrelevant.

I guess I should qualify that I'm assuming AN has a similar benefit now, but I have not verified that.

Guess makes getting council more of a priority for them now

I think Mike might have made that change sometime back, but it seems to make sense, does it not?

I see that sometimes my perception of Alamaze is a bit different than some players, that I hope the game isn't about breaking down formulas, as a hell of a lot of work went into making it much more than that with the complexity in the "textual" results.

I'm not objecting to this particular change.

As always, the issue for me is more about messaging and communication.

Agreed. The change makes sense, but it would have been better to have learmed ot in the forums or even in the DE/AN setups. Thanks, HH, for not keeping this potential gem to yourself.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

So now you just have to vote the bastards off.

Yeah that could be a problem if they are allied with people on the council.....hmmm

My opinion, if your king is killed, it should kick you off the high council....makes total sense to me. People wouldn't look at that new kingdom the same if they didn't have a king. They would be beneath them.
