And it turns out I'm at the 'Victor' level (funny as that's actually my name!) and so I have one more open slot plus a couple of standbys. I thought about signing up for 103, but I'm intrigued by what might come in 104, so I'm holding out for that.
Edit: Oh, and I just noticed that it's 10:01 -where are my results, already!

Hey bluefile2 (Black Dragons), I can hear your knees knocking way over here in Amberland with my Giants landing on your capital this turn. Just sent my Giants and Ogres to have a little RR in the Sands. If you ask them nicely, they may even leave your capital alone

Game 101 is going poorly for the AN, but the TR can't be too happy either. 3TR found my capitol earlier but 1AN drove him away with heavy losses. Last turn 1TR shows up there. He attacked 1AN and then the capital. He had 5 Troll brigades, 3 Orcs, a General, a Captain, and 2 Power-1's. I had 2 Ancient Ones brigades, 2 Marshals, a General, 2 Power-3's and a Power-1. After my double walls of fire, I did have to withdraw but he lost 7000 troops and a Power-1. Then he hit my capitol. If I read this right, he was completely wiped out to the last critter. I guess on tactic 3, Trolls just don't ever stop coming. Ouchie!

Cargus, I'm surprised you had the orders available to do all that!

when you're starved for gold, you have orders . 4 orders to defend the capitol (Defend, 2xWall of Fire, Valor) cost zip!

So, by issuing a defend order you took the chance that he would attack your group first and not just hit the capital?

Unclemike (Giant),
I'm sorry that youre parent didn't love you, and that you feel the need to take my pop centers. PLease, please, please.... dont take my capital. Wait.... nevermind. Go ahead and do your best. Hopefully you only lose a bridage or two, and GI troops are easily replaced. If karma doesnt fully hate you (longshot), maybe you will end up on my next cap city for round 2?? In other related news, the High Council seems to dislike you as well.

Mainly because for him to not attack is counter-intuitive. Sure, his best bet there (unless the thought he could win both fights - and maybe he did think that) is to defend against 1AN and attack the pop center. To me, this is a flaw in the rules. Look, you are camped outside a walled town, and you know an enemy army is in te vicinity. If you assault the town, the army can take you in the rear and ruin your day. So you defend - fine. But you then can't use ALL of your troops to attack - some of them have to be defending. But the game doesn't work that way, which to me is a bit broken. I'd adjust it so that for every defend order you write for a group, any attack orders by that group are at -20% anyhow, to represent the troops that are securing the flanks and rear and not able to participate in storming the walls.
