(PI) You won't be getting my vote on anything unless you pay reparations for blocking my influence initiative a few turns ago. You've probably pissed off the BL now too, voting against his.

NE-EL

Tobias,

You are collecting enemies faster than a soldier's carcass collects flies on the battlefield.  Your actions against my fleets in the Sorrows were unwarranted and unwise.  Reparations would be a welcome signal of your true intentions - for now we are assuming that we were an unintended consequence of your apparent crusade against the "immoral" SO.

NE-PI

We were expecting some trade income from our merchant fleets in the Sorrows that were unfortunately sunk rather viciously by the seemingly rabid Elven dog in the south.  That event set off a chain of rather unfortunate events which interrupted one of my Grand Wizards studies this turn.  I was going reward your discretion, and begin honoring our trade agreement, with a bountiful crop this season but it has, compliments of the Elves, been delayed.  Apologies - I share your frustration.

The council is dangerous.

Speaking of reparations, still waiting to hear from you. XOXO.

if you call a few beers being thrown at you while you passed by in my region for some apparent reason unbenownst to us beneath ethical standards, then yes we did.  i would say releasing critical info regarding pop center info to the entire world is unethical.  new here, but i have yet to see anyone release info in such a way.
if you are jealous of my shrewd behavior, and that you paid more for your seat, then i would respond that your bid was appropriate as well as mine.  why the secret ballot?

Elvish ambassador. ... to the pirates...our deadest apologies for the nay vote we have no quarrel with the pirates and would like to keep it that way. We regret that action and won’t vote against you again. To the necromancer...i believe you fired the first shot...my elvish warships were forced to defend themselves against your roped together rafts. We have been asked for proof of the sorcerer unethical behaviour ...we are trying to get more detail from our elvish citizens who witnessed the acts...they appear to be in shock and are receiving treatment from our best healers now. All we could get from them is the word “sheep”. The Elven nation is outraged at the actions of this member of the high council and ask that the sorcerors be removed. A private ballot has been set so that members can vote with no fear of retaliation from the sorcerors.

The elvish ambassador would also like to point out that the honorable pirate leader also voted against the elvish proposal so I would suggest that for all purposes we are even: let us move on to more important matters and help each other rid the world of common indecency.

(PI) Cool thanks. 15k gold for loss of influence seems fair. Make the trade this turn?

(PI) Nope. Yours passed, mine didn’t. So I’m out the gold for proposing and the value of an influence point.

(PI) Can everyone try to put their kingdom in () at the beginning of every post so we know who you are?

(IL just for you, PI) I disagree. He voted no. You voted no. That seems fair. Not his fault nobody else wanted to back your issue.

Also, stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill waiting on this reparations thing you seem to value so highly. Based on your comment before about his vote costing 15k, I'll start my request at 24k for the 3 boats. Let me know when I should put the order in to trade you 1 food for that 24000 gold. It will go to good use.
