5354 Sharpening My Steel Privately
BL-AM: Not to worry - just passing through and needed some dry land to nest on. I have other sparkly fish to fry, so let's just agree to pass in the night?
BL-NE: I would take 100k food if you have it. Just name the price.

The Am has said many kind things about the dragons. She said that dragon hides make the best rugs and put them all over the castle at Stormgate.

Sparklepants to butchlady (AM, this is you),

Bounty spell or two your way if you handle that lizard issue it seems like you're up against. Or prestige, or other marvelous works of magic. BL is learning the fun way what happens when he bullies.

I would like to declare that there is a clear case of Newbie abuse going on with the Gnomes. I am being spanked every which way but Sunday and anticipate being at less than 40% of the strength next turn compared to where I was when I "Surprised" my Gnome neighbor three turns ago.

To mimic my Gnome friend....HELP ... HELP .... HELP!!!!

And the reallly sad part is that while I will be a 40% husk of my former self ... I actually believe that the Gnome is stronger than I found him given all the promotions and newly minted fortress we absolutely walked right over and took.  Grrrr.  How humbling.

Well, I was surprised that as the Necromancer, the force that you used to attack my capital on turn 14 didn't really have any undead troops (just 4 zombies). I thought I had to contend with the maximum number of skeletons and zombies and other undead types. Undead troops are fairly cheap food/gold wise every turn which would have allowed you to raise your wizards to higher levels.

Instead, it looks like you recruited from pc's and companions from the wild like a normal kingdom. My advice next time, take advantage of your kingdom's strengths. The Necromancer gets to summon undead troops earlier than any other kingdom (so you don't have to raise your wizards as high as others do) while the skeleton and zombie brigades are very cheap with their food/gold cost. Max out the Skeleton and Damned-into-Zombie brigades before doing others because recruiting "normal" brigades must have slowed you down in paying their cost instead of wizard development.

Sparklepants to Night Lizard,

Last chance to leave and never come back. We can call it a learning moment for you. After I secure my region (again) my plan was to go collect my 24k gold from PI. I didn't want to have to slow down and take Darkover first, but I suppose if you want to bang heads I can oblige.

Warmest regards,
The Glittery One
