I wonder what that 3FF group in area PW is up to?

It's very close to both my army group and to Cimmeria's army. How much do you want to bet that it's up to no good? It's probably plotting some devious form of treachery. But at least it didn't lose the element of surprise.

Not many kingdoms get promoted like that for taking a mere village.  The military trait makes for very rapid advancement.

Of course, they are such a long way, away. But distance is a relative thing. DuPont is fortunate, indeed, that no other kingdom has taken the flame of war directly to his homeland. It must be quite a comforting feeling to engage in military adventuring in a neighboring region, while his homeland basks in peace.

   


Thirteen turns into the game, and DuPont still controls only his starting region. The Fairy Folk seem to have turned out to be a tad bit tougher than he initially bargained for. And, of course, none of us know what the future holds in store for our respective kingdoms, so why not just share with one and all DuPont's population centers in his home region of The Diamond Coast, that it might better facilitate long term war plans against his kingdom by other kingdoms that may not be well-positioned, currently, to enter that realm, at present?

How very unfortunate it is for the Fairy Queen and her King of Fairies that I must occupy my time keeping the Fairy realm entertained, instead of taking flight further Northwards.

No, but if he hasn't moved his capital, yet (which seems to me to be unlikely), then it will be in one of his starting region's towns, which limits it to areas EZ, FV, or GZ. He could have picked a Glyph of of Protection as a kingdom customization option, but not a Glyph of Concealment, if I'm not mistaken. The Cimmerians don't possess the Secretive trait that provides a Glyph of Concealment at game start.

A massive brain meltdown for me, this turn (Turn #14).

Crazy mistakes, probably close to a half dozen of them, or thereabouts. It's kind of funny, but it's not.

Battle                Nyvaria villagers told of a clash between the 1st Cimmerians and the 1st Fairy Folk. The Cimmerians force carried the day.


A Turn #14 glance at Northern Nyvaria from the Demon Princes' perspective. The Cimmerian village at area PU, Longleaf Market, was usurped by my kingdom, this turn.

Thus far, the Fairy King has shown no real desire to rid Nyvaria of the mountain freaks from Cimmeria. Alas, he squanders countless opportunities to make substantial inroads against these hill dwellers. He doesn't communicate. He doesn't coordinate. And the map shows how well that strategy has served his kingdom, so far.
