So the teams cannot communicate with each other outside the game but two teams are aligning with their target? I have yet to experience that in a team game but seems like that will happen just as in steel game there is a topple the leader strategy.
Hard to 'legislate' against from the gamemaster, no?
Maybe don't play those formats?

But I'm not in the game so I don't really know how bad things are. Seems like there is an increase in the amount of people looking to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Which is their prerogative but lousy for the community. Still, I don't know the details so I'll shut up now.

I will be submitting my last order Friday. I really enjoyed being part of this community but in the end I have different views of being a custom than what Rick feels we are entitled.
I was working on getting volunteers for games I was in but after reading UMs post seems that is nit what they are looking for so I will let them figure that out. I do hope they prioritize the team games or allow the other teammates to take over my kingdom.

I'm I really don't get it. 3rd Cycle is going to be freaking awesome, and people are dropping. UncleMike is halfway done with a sweet GUI order checker, and people are dropping. Just as the game is getting more awesome, people are dtopping.
Over what? If people in the Forums are annoying you, stay away from them for a while. I stepped away for a couple months a while back, kept playing my games, and everything was great. If people are annoyingu in the game, go anonymous. If you have a grudge, play a diplomacy game and beat the crap out of them.
Can we get back to having fun?
HeadHoncho made a good point about my previous post so I edited it and deleted his comment. I am going to try to do my part to get the Forums back on a positive track. Thank you, HH.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

I for one am excited about how the game is moving. I get butt-hurt sometimes like the rest of us but I drink a beer sleep on it and everything seems better the next day. We get caught up in the moment and forgive me but only see that fucking tree in front of us and not the forest. I respect everyone's choice to play or not play so do as makes you happy.

Sorry to hear about all of this negativity. The fact that people get so caught up in the game and then want to take all of their marbles and go home is actually reflective on what a great game Alamaze is.
I for one am super excited to see 3rd cycle and the more I read about it the more I want to play it. I'll be re-upping and bringing my brother back too. So that's two long time players who will return to help balance this out!
