No fortifications, no Maelstrom political advantage/disadvantage, basic political chart.  Hidden capitals all Maelstrom has plus all wizard kingdoms except NE.  Kingdoms are assigned to region listed can’t change that. Terrain type associated to pop center bonus ( unless that Maelstrom change effected all games?) Old map;

I see that the dispersed show up as choices so lets all double check that we do not select them. Otherwise I guess we get 3 kingdoms in a region.

I'll play. I remember being in the first slugfest game, but don't remember what I played or how I did. I'm sure I didn't win, though! Probably chose BL.

I think the plan was random, so you get what you get and your kingdom will be in the region appropriate to it.

He can’t pick that kingdom in that region as noted earlier.  They are set kingdoms for established regions.   I think he was playing on his post .

If this game starts it should be the wildest beginning to any game I’ve played. Do the region-mates pair up? Do they just go all out war? It could be a very short game for some.
