New Player Magic Game with Mentor Captains
#1
This will be a Team game for new players to work with a mentor to better learn the game and have questions answered. This game should be very similar to a standard Alamaze game. Except alliances are already determined

There will be 4 teams of 3 players (1 mentor, 2 new player)

Teams will be assigned by Alamaze team

Kingdoms assigned by Alamaze team but players can send in three "not this kingdom choices" to signup (if majority of player prefer draft then that is also ok)

New Player = anyone with 3 or fewer sign-ups. This is at the time you sign-up for this game. You will not be kicked out if you join other games while waiting for this to form.

Mentor = anyone that would like to help some new players. Sign-up fee is waived for Mentors

Victory - Team that controls 6 regions and all three members claim it.

If possible would like to get 4 mentors quickly but expect it may take some time to get 8 "new players". I will be one mentor.

Good time to get back into it then. @ admininstration.....if I join again now, would I start already converted to the new tool? or said another way, how far behind are you all in converting your current user base?

Everyone uses the new online order entry now.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. I'd be interested in this.
<----Newbie, has yet to play a game.
I'm currently signed up for "New Classic Game with big changes" but it hasn't started yet.
I'd be willing to drop that if this starts up first

A lot of games just filled up. Any game is going to be a bit slow right now. The RA position is open on one of the standard steel format games. RA is a good first position to play they have a bit of everything and a fairly defensive position since the region already has the SO it as well.

I would like to try Ranger. Being a relative NooB, though, I am not certain a standard steel is the best way to start. Still, which game sign up is it?

Would somebody update the signups? And I'm thinking given the lack of mentor volunteers, we may break this into two Primeval games with one mentor in each. We had two new players join today and that is the best format for that.
