Du pont, why is dark horse under your name? How did you get that title?

I picked it myself. I first played Alamaze in 1987 and at the time, I was rooting for a candidate for President - Pierre S. 'Pete' DuPont IV, the governor of Delaware who was seeking the GOP nomination. He didn't win (damn that George Bush!) but I named my Westmen King DuPont and did win my first Alamaze game. So when Alamaze came back, I used that name as my username (I'd also written a strategy article under that name back in the day). As DuPont was a dark horse candidate, that's why I selected that as a forum title to go with the name.

JF I'm surprised you havnt played DA before. I thought elf and dark elf would typically be number one picks.

I will never play every kingdom. I don't think I could ever play the underworld, DE, Or AN unless I was given a free game.

I have played DA many times in Titan and warlord games.  But have not in a steel or magic game, though  have been on a few teams with the DA on them.

I think that odd that DE, UN, or AN would not be selected.  I think I would want to try each of those three at least once.

Too difficult of kingdoms to me. DE with his demon princes. AN with enamoring. Neither of those 2 are hard as in issuing orders. I see the hard part being strategy. You have to know what your doing with them more so than other kingdoms I would think. And I wouldn't want to play the UN...havnt explored the underground world yet of high level agents

I'm not at all keen on a diplomacy game having three turns a week, but I won't be the lone holdout.
