NE - ALL

I have 80,000 food available for 50K Gold. Let me know if you are interested. For the life of me I can't get all these dead bodies laying around on the battlefield to eat anything (or move).

Sorceror journals...

As dawn awakened, the Elven commander realized he had heavily defended the wrong city. Too quickly he assumed the Sorceror lord would seek to recapture the once lost city in the Sword coast. In amazement, he watched as an entire army group rose overhead, and out of reach, until they disappeared in a flash! The group travelled mysteriously throughout two regions, landing at the other Elven city.
The defending and unsuspecting Elven troops dug in to entrench themselves at his capital, only the tips of their pointy ears were visible to the Sorceror troops. The Sorceror fielded an array of troops, and quickly the Elf troops began to soil their leotards. The stench of urine and feces filled the trenches, but they dared not rise to face the incoming hoards.
At this moment in the struggle, losses suffered by the 2nd Elven had gone beyond the
original threshold planned. As a withdrawal was attempted, the field commanders of the 2nd
Elven assigned the duties of relaying withdrawal commands were dismayed as the effects of
the enemy's mesmerizing magic prevented their comrades from retreating as ordered. To
their credit, the 2nd Elven forces continued to fight as trained. Despite a valiant effort
by the rear guard, the Elven force could not successfully withdraw from the field: they
were destroyed. Elven casualties were put at 100%. The group was destroyed! Sorcerer
casualties were put at 3.31%. All Sorcerer leaders survived the battle. Impressing his
peers was Tempestian, who again has won further glory. He is now a Major General. Zugla of
Zamor again led courageously and has earned a promotion to Captain. All the Sorcerer
wizards survived the fray. The convincing completeness of the group's victory has greatly increased
moral!
As the last surviving Elf soldier lay down to face the stars, he saw movement among them.
The stars were falling! What mysterious magic was this? As he faded away, he realized his home and King's capital were under fire as meteorites crashed down from three different locations.
Diving for cover, too late did the King of the Elves realize the damage that had been caused earlier in the campaign, as village after village had been utterly destroyed by the Sorceror. The lack of food had hampered the Elf Lord from ever properly establishing a defense that would sustain an attack. With fear, the Elf Lord realizes that the next time he rises may be his last, as his capital and home region must soon fall.

The Elven King, realizing all had been lost, abandoned his once lovely castle.  Grabbing an errand boy, he made haste through the city.  As women and children begged for their King to lead them, he slunk through the back alleys, known previously to his wife and drunkard son only.  The long road to the new capital had begun...
As he settled in to his new domain, thanking his lucky stars that he had escaped the sacking of his capital, King Airetar was finally able to begin to put his kingdom back together.  He began issuing directives, and formulating a plan for revenge.
As he lay his weary head down to rest on a pillow made of wool that he stole from the Sorceror kingdom, his eyes noticed a swirling wind in the center of his quarters.  Quickly, the swirling escalated into a howling storm.  Decorative objects, freshly hung on the walls, began to shake violently.  The room darkened to an unseemly and impenetrable gloom.  And then, unbelievably, right before the King's eyes, a Demon from the depths of hell arose through the floor.  Lord Airetar, such as is the way with cowardly Elves, soiled his leotards, and peed the bed.  His mother would not be here to clean up his mess this time, as she was visiting the Sorceror king this evening.  Using the King's eye sockets as thumbholders, the Demon took a firm grip of the soiled King's face.  Pulling closer, the creature of horror began to suck the very soul from deep within the King.  As the vile being tasted the last drops of the Elves' lifeforce, it could not help but think, hmmmm, "tastes like chicken!"

Much NE blood has been spilled in Zanthia and we claim these lands as our own. We will have tight control this turn and are aware of your recent moves into the region. We have been friendly neighbors and I wish nothing more than for that to continue. We have competitors to the East of all of us that threaten to take this game out from under our feet at any moment. I suggest we focus our efforts elsewhere rather than fight over the scraps of a Gnomish empire crushed under the boots of the Necromancer army. Please confirm your intention .... friends.

After Captain Longshot was removed from command things have steadily improved across our Empire.

(PI) Understand you have fought over it but it's turn 25 and we're all trying to win so I'm not going to be making any promises on what I may or may not try to take. That being said we've gotten along so far and would like that to continue. I will need to insist on taking the Human town I'm at with my Count because they hold one of my Baron captive and I'd like to get him back.

Thank you to you both. PI can you please confirm town, peg it off of your original village in RD lands. I think I know which one it is .. and I was moving on it this turn, but will hold off .... just want to make sure we are talking about the same one.

P.S. Congrats on taking the Elves out. Tobias finally had that smirk wiped off of his face or should I say blasted off of his face Smile
