He voted no. You voted no. That seems fair. Not his fault nobody else wanted to back your issue.
Also, stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill waiting on this reparations thing you seem to value so highly. Based on your comment before about his vote costing 15k, I'll start my request at 24k for the 3 boats. Let me know when I should put the order in to trade you 1 food for that 24000 gold. It will go to good use.
(PI) Thanks for the input. I’ll just disregard it. The two situations are completely different.
Too many sequins in your ears? Pirates don’t pay reparations for patrol and plunder. So you can put in an order for “reparations”, see what you get back. It’ll be fun for you.
(IL extraordinaire, esq.) I apologize. Obviously I'm missing something here. Maybe you can help to elucidate the matter.
You don't pay reparations for sea patrols because "that's what pirates do". Yet you want reparations for a vote. Isn't that what council people do? Vote? Seems pretty similar. Actually, seems exactly the same. The only difference is you tried to go tit-for-tat on the whole voting no thing and it didn't work out for you. So now you're demanding gold based on the argument of "nuh uhhhhhh".
Now, what did I miss? I really want to understand your position and be able to receive it as something other than bluster combined with some pouting.
Warmest Personal Regards,

The EL knew that what he was going to do would directly harm me. He knew that when he put in the order. He voted AGAINST THE PIRATE, knowing what would happen.
When I ran a sea patrol on the whole sea, I didn’t know if anyone was even running merchant ships. I didn’t specify to attack sequin lovers. I was just doing what the Pirate does. Look it up in any dictionary or type in the word “Pirate” on google. So you having some ships sunk wasn’t actually my plan. Now, I’m fine that it did since I made some gold, and your blustering and whining is amusing but it’s completely different. (SO) why would the elf vote against you in the first place?
(PI) Great question! No idea.
(SO) because he is an instigater. pick on a few people then try to backtrack when he wants to zero in on me. interesting, as i was just sitting here making christmas wreaths for everyone, minding my own business. i will still make 11 wreaths.

Two things:
1) Apparently you don’t know how to use google.
2) I’m betting you stand in front of the mirror and argue against yourself all the time just to hear yourself talk. Or do you email yourself?
How about 50,000 gold? Put in the order and I’ll make sure you get the gold next turn!
(IL/crusader for logic)
I'll answer yours first:
1) I do. It's quite lovely.
2) I like to journal occasionally, but that's really just to help with my creativity.
My turn:
1) Do you really think anyone believes your "I wasn't intending to sink ships" argument or have you given up on that? I can't help but notice that you didn't even bother trying to argue back this last time.
2) Eklar says hello. He also says he would vote against you, too (also for the boats thing). You'll have to find something else to use to bargain with NE. Maybe you can give him your booty.

A hush has fallen across the lands as the people await the High Council vote. When the wind blows, it brings with it gentle chants of "Lock Him Up!" from the people of Maelstrom gathered in the thousands of taverns and inns. The graveyards of Krynn are alive with activity with the undead having awoken to watch the saga unfold and, most shocking of all, even the brothels of Stormgate have grown idle as the people wait with baited breath.
The land is divided...will it be the rabid dog Tobias scorned and held to account for his provocative actions or will it be the salacious, immoral, and apparently bestial Sorcerer being cast down from the council to find lodging and comfort in the sheep farms of The Sword Coast?
A gasp from the crowds as the Council arrives and enters their chambers to vote. What will the council decide? The people wait ......
HIT THE READY BUTTON.

FYI @pirate, we will be running Pet Kraken patrols in Sorrows on random turns to prevent any drunken Elven invasion plans. Sorry, high Elven invasion plans.

I thought our deal for the town was complete when I gave you the location of the Rod of Fire artifact of which you said ok.
