I believe, based on 45 seconds of research, that you will form your own teams and should start naming those teammates. Then the team captains will draft the kingdoms.

Keep two slots open for me, please. I have one player confirmed in a team and another who I am looking to get a commitment from, but I have a wedding tonight (not mine!) and may not be on until sometime tomorrow.

Which means there are two spaces left.

I think will suck when someone that signed up does not get to play.

You all know who has signed up. You should be forming your teams now.

If you like, I can assign the teams once the game is full. My options are to do it purely random, or for me to use Valhalla to assign them as balanced as I can. I would then assign captains to draft.
Just an option. If you feel strongly either way, post it here.

Here's what I've got as far as folks that have "signed up":
Wynand
Drogo
JumpingFist
Dupont
TWhitewolf
wfrankenhoff/Morgan Kane
Mauler
Bash Grimtooth
me/kevindusi/The Deliverer/High Chancellor of Alamaze
DuPont's mystery guest
We need to make sure, if teams are being formed rather than drafted, that everyone on this list is included on a team. To that, I think a draft is likely the best way to go, but if we can sort it out without a draft, that works too.

Maybe a hybrid. Those that get there teams chosen for them, will have their team get the first pick or second if two teams are formed this way. Basically the thinking is your choosing position over who you work with.
I will add I am trying to get on a team so not just trying to get myself the first pick but could end up that way.

I'm generally available if anyone wants to draft or pre-draft me onto a team. I've only worked with a handful of players closely (good experiences) and I think I'm probably at Journeyman status now as far as experience (Been playing a few months and have about 50 total turns under my belt across a few games).
Put me in coach.
