SA-PI the TY has usurped a village from me after kidnapping my emissary. I suppose you did not take out his agent and emissary at pirates cove. If you would like to hunt him down and kill him, you may take the village for yourself. It's 1 square west and 1 south of your original PC in the sea of Foreboding.

Yes but the text is misleading. I clarified it to avoid further confusion but the wall of fire mechanics has already been discussed at length on the forum. You can search for it if you wish but I won't go into it here...
SA- thanks, I understand fully and know there was no program errors on the battle, just errors by the order giver. Thanks for not going into greater details.

(NO) This response is absurd, you had no idea what you were doing and that's abundantly clear to me. In fact, if you didn't have the GN and RA coming to your aid we both know you'd be at a severe disadvatage. Fantasy works well though so keep telling yourself these things.

The Gnomes have always had a philosophy that other kingdoms do not need to earn our respect. It is freely given. Our disrespect has to be earned.
The Nomads inadvertently captured our baron. It should have been a simple thing to return him as agreed. It would have maintained the respect that the gnomes have for our neighbors. Instead they have reneged on their agreement and have done so in an insulting way. It may be that our small stature causes people to underestimate us. The gnomes have long memories. We don't forget a favor and we especially don't forget a sleight. Our decision to invade this turn was based on the disrespect shown us by the nomads and is independent of the Sacred Order's invasion. If the Nomad feels he has too many enemies then he needs to examine his own actions toward his neighbors.
SA-GN very well said my friend, did you go after that NO village on your northern border in Torvale? What did you move against in the Sands if you can say? I must not have been paying attention during our secret meeting.
Rellgar (NO) What I said was more along the lines of : "sign a longer NAP and I'll be glad to release him". You're actually telling me you wouldn't have jumped in if I released your Baron? Please.
I'm examining my actions against my neighbors and here's what I came up with:
Neighbor to West: NAP through turn 20, forgave his early screw up on town trade and asked for nothing in return, stood down from SA on his request.
Neighbor to North: 20 turn NAP, haven't had a single disagreement
Neighbor in 1 (via dimension portal): Game long NAP and stood down.
What other actions against neighbors should I be examining? Makes no sense at all.
Like I said- enjoy the 4vs1, there's no honor in it and you guys will clearly win. But it isn't anything to be proud of.
GN - NO
If you had released my baron as agreed then we would not have had a quarrel. My agreement with RA and SA is a mutual defense alliance. I am under no obligation to join in attacks. Your response to my multiple requests has been nothing short of insulting and it is even more insulting that you use my emissary as a bargaining chip to negotiate with the Sacred Order. You have never bothered to initiate any type of agreement with the Gnome kingdom. Possibly because you erroneously thought that the Tyrant would make short work of us. Possibly you intended to invade all along. In any case, you have yourself to blame for our presence in the Southern Sands
(NO) Well, I will give you one thing- I never considered talking to you. Funny though, you did the same thing by not reaching out to me until I happen to be in control of your emissary. If you look back, it was with the RA not the SA. No matter. You may want to look up the word "hypocrisy" though. Seems to me it's something you should know- since you are practicing it.

(PI) SA ok, I will look in on that area. Perhaps the TY is not as defeated as you all thought.

NO - I do not know what you want me to do this turn. Start listing targets.
EVERYONE - Empires bought protection some did not. If Lords from any empire listed things I find interesting, who knows where my agents might look. The more data, the more interest I get. Artifacts, agents, emissaries, are all interesting to me. War is here finally and every region is now involved. Offering data is free and might yield you unknown results. Now if you need more specific tasks done, that will cost ya and the attack will be known by all, but might be worth it. start listing targets.
(NO) Gladly. Here's my primary wish- the GN loses some of his wizards or his most valuable trinkets, which I must admit are impressive. Here's the details on his main forces both sitting outside Vanasheen:
Group
I.D. Brigs Reg Area Leaders Wizards
2GN 0 10 YU NA The Alchemist (Power-7 Lich)
NA Goldenbrain (Power-5)
NA Tagli (Power-3)
4GN 29 10 YU Marshal Brightsnout Fogmaster (Power-8)

Commander Glint Goremaker Silver Mage (Power-7)
Centurion Hero of Runiclon Kanis Firewand (Power-6)
YU 4th Gnome Narsil, Flame of the West 77485
YU 4th Gnome Ring of Spells 13732

Did a search on the forum for "wall of flame", found 2 threads with nothing on this. Did a search for "wall of fire" and found one thread that with Cipher but again- nothing on this. Looked through UM's corner- nothing I can find. Where can I find this discussion if it's not via those keywords? Understand when Rick talks about how it's not a big company and you can't keep things up to date - but this is not "misleading" it's flat out incorrect. I don't expect it to change, but it would be nice to actually see the discussion of this mechanic. Anyone recall this or have any helpful searching tips to find it?

(PI) Is the GN army better equipped then the SA? Weird how the Gnome might be one of the top military powers now, kind of funny in a way. Unless the SA lied about not being able to beat a 79,000 defense city, the GN might be putting the other military kingdoms to shame? Seems the War between the TY and the GN did not go down as the intel I received.
Official pirated war footage between the boy king and the Gnomes.

I am aware of the word hypocrisy. I fail to see its application here. Possibly if I had held an emissary of yours and dealt with you in a deliberately insulting manner then I would be forced to agree. That is the issue here.

SA- how did you plan on an adversary charging through your wall of fire, if you retreat before the charge phase even occurs? You may want to be careful with your insults, they may actually reveal who the real fool is.
